On Saturday, December 8, Solebury School's Winter Track kicked off its season at Ursinus College's High School Invitational, with 77 teams in attendance. Ben Bunting, who ran an impressive 2:19.3, won his heat in the 800m and finishing 37th of 114. Arlene Ricks threw 27' ¼ ", earning her 18th of 67 throwers in the shot put.
While at Ursinus, our team ran into former Solebury School student-athlete Vikki Rueda-Juarez '17, now an Ursinus sophomore! (See photo of Vikki with Coach Terri Miller P'16 '18.)
On Tuesday, December 11, Solebury completed in the Downingtown West High School Winter Freeze. Ben Bunting finished 3rd in 800m, Arlene Ricks and Maddie O'Brian finished 1st & 3rd, respectively, in shot put, and Kelly Hochenberger finished 2nd in the long jump!
